I love when couples embrace the process of being photographed and let their guard down. I am honored to have the privilege of celebrating love and connection every day!
Oh, where do I start with these two! Remember their engagement session at the Alaska State Fair? See it HERE. They had a mind blowing wedding at the Alaska Native Heritage Center in Anchoarge, Alaska. Crystal is an artist, and every detail of this wedding was stunning. From the gold backdrop of origami cranes to the sparkling table numbers. Great Land Entertainment threw a spectacular party! The couple organized a flash mob for the ceremony and entertained their guests. I think my favorite part was Jarod singing a Taylor Swift song in the mists of his vows! Jarod shared his lyrical skills during the reception as well, when he rapped every word of "Ice Ice Baby".
This stunning house where they got ready, is an amazing vacation rental on the hillside in Anchorage. You can learn more about the Susitna sunset on their website www.susitnasunset.com
Hey, love birds! We want to tell everyone about a great venue in Wasilla and its awesome staff that make wedding memories every week! If you're looking for a rustic, romantic, and relaxed place to get married, this is your spot! When Brenda and Don couldn't find a barn for a family member's wedding, they got the idea to create a wedding venue. This year — which is only their second full season — they have 30 weddings scheduled.
Brenda & Don are a delight to work with, and you can tell they love making your day special!
When I asked Brenda why she does this, she said " I really enjoy being a part of such a big day in peoples lives. It's fun and we meet incredible people that become friends. I love that we offer such a beautiful place complete with tables, chairs and antiques included. I truly love people and this venue feeds my gardening and antique obsession!
